The Publications Office of the European Union is looking for language editors (temporary agent appointment as AST1- AST3 for maximum 5 years) to join its Irish and English language teams in Luxembourg. If you are a native speaker with experience of copy-editing, proofreading or other language-correction work then do not hesitate to apply. Excellent knowledge of Irish or English grammar, syntax and spelling is required, as is the ability to learn and apply the rules of the EU’s Interinstitutional Style Guide. The successful applicants will work as part of a specialised team, copy-editing manuscripts (generally using Word and other MS Office applications), correcting PDF proofs and performing validation tasks in various electronic formats.
