UK SME gets EU funding for sustainable paper cup

UK SME Skipping Rocks Lab(link is external) will receive €50.000 (£43.818) of EU funding to finance feasibility studies for a novel sustainable paper cup for take-away drinks. The SME will also receive up to three days of free business coaching.

UK youth perspectives and priorities for Brexit negotiations

On 18 October, the London School of Economics, My Life My Say and the All Party Parliamentary Group on a Better Brexit for Young People (APPG-BBYP) published a report(link is external) on young people's views of Brexit. The report found that young people are bemused, angry and resentful at the decision of the UK to leave the EU. It also found that young people do not want to lose the EU membership opportunities and rights, including freedom of movement.
