Training

Training on Identifying and preventing fraud and corruption in Structural & Cohesion Funds (online 19-24 June 2024)

During the training you will gain insights from experts on: (i) Main concepts, definitions, principles and procedures regarding identification and prevention of fraud and corruption in ESI funded projects; (ii) Role of different authorities and ESIF bodies in fraud prevention, detection and reporting; (iii) Emerging trends in fraudulent and corrupt practices; (iv) Analysis of real fraud cases; (v)Innovative methods to combat fraud among others. You will also have a chance to explore new ideas and share outcome and lessons-learned with peers on fraud indicators, fraud prevention and new risks linked to the pandemic and Ukraine. Participants: ESI Funds managing authorities/ intermediate bodies/ audit authorities in the EU Member States; Format: online in EN, free of charge, 4half days, 19, 20, 21 and 24 of June (4half days)

Training on Integrity Pacts (in Brussels 10-11 September 2024)
DG REGIO is organising sessions of the training module on Integrity Pacts in 2024. The training aims to support the EU Member States in implementing Integrity Pacts (IP) in public procurement projects financed by EU cohesion funds. This advanced module provides hands-on training on the setting up and implementation process. The training is designed for participants from cohesion policy funds managing authorities/ intermediate bodies/ audit authorities in the EU Member States and is provided free of charge. Authorities in each Member State are kindly invited to nominate technical level experts to participate in the training. Please note the training is provided in English. Registration is open for the 10-11 September 2024 Face2Face (2 days in Brussels at EC premises) and one more session will be organised on 18-21 November 2024 (4 half days via Zoom).
