Bikes, mopeds and motorcycles have become a significantly more common sight on Hungary’s roads – and they are increasingly involved in accidents.
The two-wheelers school programme of the KTI Hungarian Institute for Transport Sciences aims to stop and reverse this trend. Based on the concept of lifelong learning, it provides interactive courses led by experienced driving instructors. Implemented in many cities around the country, it is always adapted to the local environment.
Participants are taught about the use of protective equipment and the best ways to avoid accidents. By replicating dangerous situations, the “Riding Trainer” simulator allows students to put into practice what they have learned on accident avoidance.
