Community Speedwatch (CSW) is a UK initiative in which local volunteers monitor how fast vehicles are going by using detection devices. Those speeding are subsequently referred to the police. The goal is to effectively educate and inform the public about risky driving.

Working closely with police, CSW Online was created as a means to modernise CSW and better coordinate groups of volunteers, helping them work using similar standards and procedures. It has helped CSW gain in credibility and reputation and manages nearly 3 000 trained volunteers. They span several counties and are used by a growing number of UK police forces.
