The EU4Algae Insider's Perspective initiative had its kick-off early this year to give visibility to members’ key research findings, business opportunities and innovations relevant to the algae sector. In this dedicated section, interested partners can share their projects and success stories and disseminate them with the Algae community.
And let's not forget the EU4Algae Annual Meeting 2023. Taking place in Prague on 11 December, the event focused on presenting the main activities and progress of 2023 and discussing upcoming actions and initiatives for 2024.
EU4Algae is also undergoing an initiative to engage consumers, spread and foster awareness, and inspire eco-conscious living: the EU4Algae initiative to increase awareness and acceptance of algae!
The efforts for this started in 2023 with several initiatives. In 2024, these efforts will continue with the revamping of the EU4Algae quiz, a paid Social Media Consumer's Campaign, and other key initiatives to be disseminated via EU4Algae's Maritime Forum website.
But there's more. EU4Algae:
- Marked the International Day of Women’s Rights on 8 March with a special interview with Agnese Stunda-Zujeva, the founder & CEO of SpirulinaNord;
- Featured artist & illustrator Xulia Pisón, creator of the Microalgae comic book trilogy, on the Interview Spotlight article series;
- Divulged the first results from the quiz;
- And, highlighted the latest updates and additions to the Knowledge Library.
