NESET Report “The role and place of ECEC in integrated working, benefiting vulnerable groups such as Roma”

This report examines the added value and the prerequisites for integrated working – as well as the crucial role played by ECEC services – to better serve all families, but especially vulnerable and disadvantaged children and families.

The report is addressing policy makers and professionals working in the field of ECEC, and focuses on different groups of vulnerable children and families (and, in particular, on Roma). It is based on a literature review and six case studies (in UK, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania), illustrating different ways of integrated working in a variety of contexts.
