In this summer edition of our newsletter, we are thrilled to share a glimpse of the exciting events and initiatives that lie ahead. On the BLSI side, our team has been hard at work on an issue paper and a series of webinars, covering topics such as regulatory reporting principles and digital-ready legal drafting. Equally exciting, SEMIC2023, our annual semantic interoperability conference, will return on October 18th in Madrid!  

We would like to highlight some conferences that may be of interest. On August 17th, don't miss the European AI Summit 2023, where AI professionals from Europe and the United States will come together to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange. Then, on September 20th, those of you in the healthcare industry may be interested in attending the 8th ENISA eHealth Security Conference. This conference, taking place in Luxembourg, will discuss the fortification of public and private entities against cyber threats. 

Speaking of cybersecurity, the European Cybersecurity Skills Conference 2023 will bring together experts in Spain to discuss the ENISA Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF) and ENISA's involvement in the Cybersecurity Skills Academy initiative. Finally, mark your calendars for the AI & Big Data Expo Europe 2023, which will take place on September 26th and 27th in Amsterdam and will cover topics such as responsible AI and embracing AI for digital transformation.

Meanwhile, we would like to invite you to read about Germany's ever-evolving digital readiness methodology, the 'Digitalcheck', which has been in use since January and is driven by practical experiences, data evaluation, and stakeholder feedback.
