BLSI news and future plans

Dear BLSI community,

date:  10/04/2022

We are happy to share with you some updates on what we have been working on and news on the upcoming events!

First, we are pleased to invite you to our next virtual breakfast on 5 May, which will be dedicated to Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and their beneficial role in digital-ready policymaking and enabling governments digital transformation. You can find more information and the registration link below! We also encourage you to check out the upcoming events on AI & Tech and Natural Language Processing for public services. We will share the recent developments around the policy screening project empowered by AI in the latter.

Second, our team has prepared takeaways from the March webinar, where we discussed regulatory sandboxes and the opportunities and challenges it brings for policymakers.

Further, do not miss the open call for proposals launched by DIGITAL Govtech incubator to foster development of innovative cross-border solutions! The deadline for the application is May 14. Check the info session on April 19 to learn more about the opportunity!

If you want to follow courses on interoperability, we invite you to check the new learning opportunities with the Interoperable Europe Academy. In the meantime, read news from our Danish colleagues, who received a fund from the European Commission to develop a method to revise existing legislation and to promote digital-ready policies.

Last but not least, help us adapt EIF Toolbox to your needs. Read more about the role of the toolbox and fill out the survey until April 21!

Our team is always happy about your feedback and suggestions. If you want to share your thoughts and ideas with us, reach out to us through our BLSI JoinUp page or via e-mail, so we can prepare our next event / content together!

Kind regards,

The Legal Interoperability Team
