Our community's news and more

Dear BLSI Community,

date:  24/02/2023

We're pleased to present the February edition of the BLSI Newsletter! As always, digital-ready policymaking activities are in full swing, and we’re excited to update you on our community's news, and to showcase plenty of interesting events.

To begin with, we would like to share the key takeaways of the February virtual breakfast regarding the Interoperable Europe Act proposal's impact on our community. Along with the written summary, you can also re-watch the session on the Interoperable Europe YouTube channel.

For those who have a particular interest in regulatory reporting, we have excellent news: the new regulatory reporting training course is now available on the Interoperable Europe Academy platform. Take this opportunity to familiarise yourself with regulatory reporting and understand its importance.

Now, let’s explore some promising events happening in March and April! Firstly, please be reminded that registrations for the NIFO Webinar will be closing soon. If you haven't already registered, now is your chance to take advantage of this opportunity.

In March, the Big Data & AI World conference will take place, aiming to unlock the full potential of data and harness advancing technologies. Three other interesting events are scheduled for later in the month: the FOSS Backstage, on open source and community management; the 10th Annual European Cyber Security, on high-level security and defence issues; and the ENDORSE 2023, a virtual event on the power of multilingual reference data.

Moving on to April, the CodeX FutureLaw event will delve into how technology is transforming the legal profession and the law itself. Lastly, the Delphi Economic Forum will bring together distinguished personalities from politics, business, diplomacy, and civil society for insightful discussions!

If you attend any of the events mentioned above, we encourage you to share your experiences and main takeaways with the rest of the community in the BLSI comment section below the relevant news item.

As per usual, remember to join our open discussions and share your needs, ideas, and insights through the BLSI Joinup space! If you haven't already, become a member of our community and follow our step-by-step guide on how to contribute!

Kind regards,

The Legal Interoperability Team
