Update of ISA² Newsletter Privacy Policy

The European Commission is committed to protect your personal data and to respect your privacy. Acting in the role of a data controller in the context of the ISA² Programme, we would like to inform you that we have recently updated our Privacy Statement. In summary, the changes relate to the following:

  • We have adjusted our Privacy Statement so that it corresponds to the requirements of the new Regulation (EU) 2018/1725. In doing so, we have supplemented the list of rights you can exercise under the regulation, namely the right to access your personal data and to rectify them in case your personal data are inaccurate or incomplete. You also have the right to erase your personal data, to restrict the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability.
  • The Data Controller is now European Commission's Directorate-General for Informatics, Unit.D2.
  • We have limited the time for which we store your personal data.
  • We have elaborated on the measures we take to protect and safeguard your personal data. 

The changes will go into effect on 20 January 2020. We would also like to encourage you to read the updated statement in full. If you would like to exercise your rights under Regulation (EU) 2018/1725, or if you have comments, questions or concerns, or if you would like to submit a complaint regarding the collection and use of your personal data, please feel free to contact the Data Controller, namely Directorate-General for Informatics, Unit D2 at isa2@ec.europa.eu.
