The EU Standardisation Booster launched to support research and innovation projects to valorise results and increase impact

New opportunity offered by the EU Standardisation Booster for the valorisation of results of H2020 and Horizon Europe projects by supporting the revision or creation of standards

date:  22/06/2022

Dear colleague,

As part of the EU Strategy on Standardisation, the EU Standardisation Booster (HSbooster.eu) will provide expert support to EU projects to help them increase impact and exploitation of project results by contributing to the creation or revision of standards.

Contributing to standards is often an objective of EU projects. However, actually navigating the path to engage with standardisation working groups and technical committees can be complex and costly. HSbooster.eu will deploy standardisation experts to deliver consultancy services which will guide and support EU projects in taking the right strategic approach to standardisation. Whether you would like to understand how and when your project can contribute, improve their expertise and skills or actually create or revise a standard, HSbooster.eu aims to provide the right support to them.

Open Calls for EU Projects: Beneficiaries of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe can apply for support through five Open Calls which commence at the end of June 2022 and will run through to January 2024.  All services are funded by the European Commission, therefore at no cost for the project applying.

If you consider that standardisation could possibly facilitate the exploitation of your project results, please inform them about this new service so that they can benefit from it.

The HS Booster targets Horizon 2020 (closed & ongoing projects) and Horizon Europe projects.
