New First Support Level for DIGIT Drupal hosting

A new First Support Level for the Drupal hosting service is in place to centralise and better manage the support requests from Europa sites hosted in DIGIT. Support requestors are welcome to open tickets into the new JIRA board DROPSEC (DRupal OPerational SECurity). The First Support Level team will deal with them directly or assign them to the Quality Assurance and DevOps teams, now becoming Support Level II, for deeper investigation when needed.

From 15 March it will not be possible to open Jira tickets directly to Support Level II (current DevOps board and Quality Assurance board).

The new First Support Level team counts with the experience of the current DIGIT.D1.004 On boarding team and new colleagues to provide support to Europa projects on CI/CD and tools, and to centralise all tickets open to sector D1.004 (except security related issues).

DROPSEC ticket instructions

Please include the following information when creating tickets on the new JIRA board DROPSEC:

 

  • TYPE: Issue/Task/Support
  • TITLE: [DG/Agency] – id project - issue summary
  • DESCRIPTION: project repository and environment where the issue faced up
