The EU Funded Projects Repository tool was officially launched by European Commission Vice-President Kristalina Georgieva at the ''EU Budget Focused on Results'' conference in Brussels, on 22 September 2015.

The interactive tool, developed jointly by DG BUDG, DG COMM, Eurostat and DIGIT, provides information about 518 projects funded by the EU budget. The projects relate to fields from employment, regional development, research and education to environment, humanitarian aid, energy and many others.

The repository aims to show to the EU citizens examples of how the EU budget is changing their lives for the better.

The search results are visualised on the world map and can be filtered by funding areas and countries. The Web app is the result of a pilot project that is currently assessed for a further development. It is available in English and can be accessed with both desktop and mobile devices.
