The factbook provides a practical introduction to the fundamental elements of the VRWE scene in Europe, including a definition of what it encompasses, an overview of VRWE ideologies, the narratives that are propagated and the symbols and vocabulary that is used, a synopsis of the various VRWE groups and sub-cultures, and insight into the VRWE recruitment techniques. The factbook also observes many of the shifts and changes to the VRWE challenge in recent years.
