New National Plan for the Suppression of Trafficking in Human Beings adopted
The National Plan was adopted on 31 October. The plan is a medium-term strategic planning act to ensure coordinated action by state administration bodies in the field of combatting trafficking in human beings, to improve existing policies and raise the level of knowledge and awareness of trafficking in human beings.

Funding allocated to support victims of human trafficking
On 30 December, the Ministry of the Interior and Administration signed an agreement with the La Strada Foundation - Foundation Against Human Trafficking and Slavery and the Dialog Foundation. Funding covers activities such as a 24 hour helpline, emergency assistance, safe accommodation and institutional training.
