date:  10/01/2025

The WIH has just completed its work on OJA data for quarter 3 of 2024 and the data have been made available to their users in the Data Lab. To learn more about the updates and improvements introduced to the newest OJA data release, please see the blog post about the OJA data 2024.Q3 release.

We take this opportunity to inform you of important changes to our current data access policy. The WIH has noted an increasing interest in its OJA data and a steadily expanding user community, including requests from entities outside the European Statistical System (ESS). To ensure we continue to support our key users from the ESS effectively and in a timely manner, we have decided to reconsider our data access procedures

At this stage, we are conducting a comprehensive review of our processes. As part of this review, we have decided to pause granting new data access requests for entities outside the ESS. This measure will allow us to focus on improving our workflows and relevant procedures within the constraints of our resources.

What does this mean for users?

  • Existing users: Your current access remains unchanged, and you can continue to use the data as before until your agreed access period expires.

  • New requests: We are not accepting new access requests during this review period from parties outside the ESS.

Thank you for your understanding and support. We are committed to minimising any disruption and keeping our users informed. This means that updates on further developments will be shared in a timely manner through the WIH external wiki and the WIH Newsletter.
