OJA Data for 2023.Q4 now in the DataLab!

We're happy to announce that the Online Job Advertisements (OJA) data for the fourth quarter of 2023 is now available  in the DataLab. This release builds on improvements introduced for OJA 2023Q1-3 datasets (extended country and language coverage, enhanced skills data), and it is available in a new platform, under new access settings. 

For this data release, we have added around 300 new terms and identified 505 new ESCO skills, further refining the scope of our skills analysis.  

Regular checks on the data throughout the quarter have accelerated the OJA release process and helped us to introduce more timely data corrections. Detailed information on fixes and improvements made to the OJA data processing can be found by all DataLab users in the WIH.OJA_2023.Q4 release notes. 

Specifically, we revised the OJA data for the Netherlands (NL) and Slovakia (SK) to correct ISCO codes and solve deduplication issues. 

While we continue to improve quality of data from the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries (included in OJA datasets starting from 2023Q1), the datasets remain in the initial stages of validation and will be subject to further revisions. 

Please note that in March 2024 the WIH DataLab  transitioned to a new platform, with a better user experience and using EU login authentication. If you already had access to the previous Datalab with Azure AD, to let us grant you access the new portal, simply log in with your EU login and inform us of your email used with your EU login.
