OJA data for 2023.Q2 and Q3 is available via the DataLab!

date: 05/01/2024
The OJA data for the second and third quarters of 2023 is available in the DataLab. As for the 2023.Q1 data release, the datasets cover the EFTA countries. Moreover, in line with the extended country coverage we have now extended and enhanced language support in the processing pipeline.
It should be noted that the newly added data is still in their early stages and partially validated; thus, we present the data in separate tables. The WIH is committed to closely monitoring and improving the data's accuracy in the near future to support seamless integration with existing datasets. We will keep you informed of progress.
The tables released for the new countries and languages in the Q2 data are as follows:
-
wih_oja_latest.wih_oja_blended_efta_v0.1
-
wih_oja_versioned.wih_oja_blended_efta_v0.1_r2023q2_r20230804
The tables released for the new countries and languages in the Q3 data are as follows:
-
wih_oja_latest.wih_oja_blended_efta_v0.1
-
wih_oja_versioned.wih_oja_blended_efta_v0.1_r2023q3_r20231013
Detailed fixes and improvements made to the OJA data processing for both quarters can be found in the WIH.OJA_2023.Q2 release notes and WIH.OJA 2023.Q3 release notes.
What is the WIH’s OJA data?
Developed by Eurostat and European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop), the WIH’s OJA database provides data on information posted online about job openings targeted at potential jobseekers.
OJA are usually published on job posting websites, company websites and portals for jobseekers. They typically contain a job description, employer information, jobseeker requirements, benefits, and so on.
How do I access the OJA data?
All OJA data is accessible to all Web Intelligence Network (WIN) members via the DataLab. Simple step-by-step instructions for accessing the data are available on the WIH Wiki. If you are the WIN member and would like to access the OJA data but do not yet have access to the DataLab, please contact estat-wih@ec.europa.eu to request access.
If you work for a national statistical institute or a regional statistical institute in the EU that is not a member of the WIN, please contact estat-wih@ec.europa.eu to enquire whether, and if yes, how you could be associated with the project.
