Follow the Web Intelligence Network

The Web Intelligence Network (WIN) is a community centred around the WIH. It contributes to the development of the WIH and transferring knowledge on statistical methods and tools for using web data in official statistics. WISER is a group of data users from the European National Statistical Institutes, academia, international organisations, and other official statistics producers who cooperate closely with the WIN. WISER’s main role is to test and provide feedback on the WIH developments and extend the network of future users of the WIH. The WIN contributes to the development of the WIH by:

·       Co-developing the Web Intelligence Hub Platform and the online job advertisements (OJA) and online-based enterprise characteristics (OBEC) use-cases,

·       Exploring new domains to be integrated into the WIH in the future,

·       Working on the quality of the data and methodological, and architecture-related developments.

The WIN is a network comprising of National Statistical Institutes and other official statistics producers within the ESS. It also has an important role in building the community of future WIH users by sharing knowledge on various aspects of using web data in official statistics. For example, it delivers training through workshops and webinars, usually open to anyone interested in web data and official statistics.

Web Intelligence uSER group (WISER) is an open group of data users from the European National Statistical Institutes, academia, international organisations, and other official statistics producers who cooperate closely with the WIN. WISER’s main role is to test and provide feedback on WIH developments and extend the network of WIH users.
