The Hungarian National Europass Centre (NEC) is empowering young minds to build strong foundations for their future careers. Recognizing the importance of early career planning we have developed a range of innovative resources for teachers, educators, and young people themselves.

Equipping Young Professionals:

One key resource is the publication "Career starters – Resume writing for elementary students – Teacher’s guide". This guide equips students with the knowledge and confidence to craft compelling CVs, enhancing their chances of landing their dream jobs. Interactive games and activities based on Europass CVs make learning engaging for students. These exercises help them identify common mistakes while fostering critical thinking about career paths and skill development. The tool is available in Hungarian and English.

Competency-based career planning in schools:

"Competency-based career planning in schools booklet" is another valuable resource: this guide offers educators and youth workers a comprehensive toolbox of activities and ideas to nurture young people's skills and self-awareness. The guide, available in Hungarian and English, assists with career guidance, planning for further education, and navigating the initial steps of job searching.

Beyond the Technicalities:

Our commitment extends beyond technical skills: The "Jobseeker's Handbook" series, developed in collaboration with experts, offers practical tips and strategies for job searching. Going beyond the mechanics, resources will delve into the importance of a positive mindset and the value of international experiences. These topics resonate strongly with Europass tools, further promoting their usage.

Sharing Knowledge, Nurturing Futures:

We actively cooperate with other NECs to translate our materials into English, making them accessible for educators and young people across Europe. This spirit of collaboration ensures a wider outreach. By offering these free resources, we empower young people to actively shape their futures. The comprehensive materials support conscious future planning and equip individuals with the skills and confidence to navigate their careers successfully.
