The third update on the European guidelines for validating non-formal and informal learning has been published by Cedefop. The guidelines are a valuable resource for those engaged in the development and implementation of validation processes. They provide insights into validation provision and methodologies and how the process can be coordinated and carried out. The guidelines develop the principles outlined in the 2012 Council Recommendation on validation and have a specific section on quality assurance.
