Croatia hosted the eight EQAVET Peer Review on self-assessment in initial VET
On 1 and 2 December 2022, the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education (AVETAE) held the Peer Review, where seven EQAVET Network members acted as peers – including participants from Finland, Lithuania, Romania, Slovenia, and Spain. The Peer Review focused on the self-assessment process in Croatia’s initial vocational education and training (IVET) system. Discussions focused on the efficiency of the self-assessment model, on the support provided by AVETAE, as well as new ideas and proposals to improve the process for schools and encourage the culture of quality assurance.
