On 28-29 June 2021, Personal and Household Services stakeholders organised in partnership with the European Commission and the ILO an event celebrating the 10th Year Anniversary of ILO Domestic Workers Convention, 2011 (No. 189).

This online conference was well attended, featuring presentations taking stock of the progress made and the remaining challenges.

Partners of the ILO C189 Alliance also published a joint report and wrote to governments of EU countries that have failed to write the ILO C189 provisions into national laws.
