What's new on the EPIC website?

EPIC is an evidence-based online platform that provides information about policies relating to children and their families in the EU. The EPIC website now contains new and updated pages:

EPIC hosts a repository of studies and reports on topics related to EU child and family policy. Several studies published in 2019 and 2020 are now available in this page, including an OECD report looking at the return on investment in children’s education, health and family life, a UNICEF report reviewing family policies in 41 OECD and EU countries, and a Eurydice report with data on compulsory education and training in 38 European countries.

EPIC provides contain links to relevant data provided by several organisations, institutions and projects relating to investment in children. Recently, EPIC added the OECD Child Well-Being Data Portal: which provides data on children’s well-being, home and family environment, health and safety, education and school life, life satisfaction, as well as information on child-related public policies.

EPIC lists relevant events happening on the EU stage on topics related to children and families. Upcoming events include the European Social Services Conference in June 2021 and the International Young Carers Conference in May 2021.
