2019 Country Profiles

Every year, EPIC prepares short snapshots of developments in EU Member States around child and family policies. The profiles covering key developments in 2019 and highlighting relevant strategies, public authorities and data for each Member State will be published in summer 2020.

Policy memo on Sexuality Education across the European Union  

Across the European Union, Member States’ approaches to sexuality education in schools varies considerably meaning different children receive different messages about living in today’s society. An upcoming EPIC policy memo will look at how sexuality education is delivered across the EU Member States. 

Research note examining mental health and social exclusion in children   

The upcoming EPIC research note on Children and Mental Health will provide an overview of relevant evidence on approaches to preventing mental health issues in children.

Annual thematic report

Every year, the EPIC team publishes an annual report that outlines changes and developments changes and new developments during the past year in the area of child and family policies across the EU Member States. The report covering 2019 will be published in summer 2020 and past reports (covering 2018 and 2017) can be accessed here.
