EPIC publishes research note exploring the benefits of extracurricular activities for children (16/08/2021)
The European Platform for Investing in Children (EPIC) has published a research note that, drawing on 34 academic studies, aims to inform policymakers and other stakeholders about the benefits that extracurricular activities can have for children.
It analyses the extent to which extracurricular activities can improve or support social inclusion of children, and how disadvantaged and vulnerable children can be supported to access such activities.
EPIC updates country profiles for each EU Member State (16/08/2021)
The EPIC country profiles provide an overview of key features of child and family policies in each Member State and are updated annually.
The latest country profiles contain information on relevant national strategies, key public authorities, and an overview of recent EPIC publications and alerts relating to each Member State.
The profiles also contain examples of EPIC practices and relevant Eurostat indicators relating to the policy pillars of the European Commission Recommendation of February 2013 on Investing in Children: breaking the cycle of disadvantage.
