Dear Sir/Madam

The European Year of Skills (Year) has come to an end on 8 May 2024 (read more here). Thank you for being a part of the Year, which has served as a platform to highlight the work, targets and cooperation on skills that we are all committed to. Throughout the Year, your involvement, passion, and collaboration have been central to driving positive change and nourishing a mindset of upskilling and reskilling.

To further enhance our understanding of the results of the Year, we kindly request your participation in a brief online survey, which takes less than 5 minutes to fill in.

This survey aims to gather feedback from stakeholders like yourself who are actively engaged in shaping the landscape of skills development. The survey also aims to gather feedback from those interested in skills or affected by the topic, but who were not actively involved. Your input is invaluable and will help us assess the effectiveness of our efforts, identify areas for improvement, and chart a course for continued progress in the field of skills development. Your feedback will feed into an evaluation report to be submitted to the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union. Please fill in the survey before 5 June.

We also encourage you to share the survey with your network and colleagues in Europe as a whole and at national, regional and local level, whether they work directly on skills development or are simply interested in the topic. By increasing our reach, you support us in making sure that a diverse range of perspectives is captured.

Thank you once again for your commitment and contributions to the European Year of Skills. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in developing the future of skills in Europe.

If you have further questions or experience any technical difficulties, please contact empl-ey-skills@ec.europa.eu

Best regards,

The EAfA team
