EPIC has recently published three reports focusing on children and young people in the European Union.

EPIC published a research note examining evidence about preventing mental health problems amongst children and young people. The note draws on existing evidence through twelve systematic reviews and meta-analyses about interventions aimed at preventing anxiety and depression developing in children. Mental health problems are one of the most significant health concerns for children and young people in the European Union.

EPIC published a policy memo  outlining what sexuality education is available to children and young people across the EU. The policy memo examines whether and how sexuality education is delivered by schools, highlights trends and differences and considers the need for further data mapping.

EPIC published a policy memo examining the childcare gap in the EU member states.  The childcare gap refers to a period in which families with young children are unable to benefit from well compensated childcare leave or a guaranteed or state-supported place in early childhood education and care (ECEC). The policy memo reflects on policies that aim to address the childcare gap and reflects on future research.
