EIT and EUIPO Renew Commitment to Strengthen IP Support for Innovators
The European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) are sustaining their collaboration with a new Memorandum of Understanding, signed on 2 April, and a joint work plan for 2025. Building on a successful 2024, which saw 41 joint initiatives and nearly 7,000 participants, the two organisations are rolling out new activities to boost innovation and IP awareness among SMEs, start-ups, women entrepreneurs, and young learners. Upcoming activities include an IP Masterclass tailored for EIT Girls Go Circular students, focusing on gaming, music, and fashion, and an Ideas Powered for Business Network event in Alicante at the end of April. More initiatives are in the pipeline and will be announced throughout the year.
