"Thank you to all who took part in the EIC Summit and R and I Week 2024. With over 1600 participants at our wonderful Tour and Taxis venue in Brussels, more than 95 speakers divided over plenary sessions and workshops and an exhibition showing some of the very best projects and companies we support, the EIC Summit has clearly established itself as the place to be for European deep-tech innovation. It has been a great pleasure to witness a day with so much of the great things the EIC has had to offer:

• The real impact the EIC is making in deep-tech, as highlighted in the EIC Impact Report 2023. With nearly 100 investments in 2023 in deep tech companies worth around €1.2 billion, we really are on track to become Europe’s largest deep-tech investor;
• The recognition of remarkable women innovators, for the first time in cooperation with the colleagues from the European Institute of Technology;
• Impressive and inspiring projects in our exhibition, including Seeds of Bravery, aiming to help at least 200 Ukrainian deep tech start-ups grow and integrate within the European innovation ecosystem;
• Workshops full of interesting topics to help our beneficiaries in their daily work;
• An investor day, connecting our beneficiaries to investors;
• And a vibrant, growing community of innovators made up by you, our beneficiaries and stakeholders.
