The Cuban Industrial Property Office (OCPI) has informed the International Bureau that it will start functioning as a depositing and accessing office of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Digital Access Service starting from 1 January 2024. This service is often utilized in the context of patent applications and related intellectual property (IP) matters. The involvement of OCPI in this service enhances global collaboration and accessibility in the field of IP.
