Final meetings have been held for all PSAs, except PSA 7: Detonators (Cycle 2) and PSA 17: LED replacement tubes (Cycle 3).

Pending the finalisation and approval of some final reports, here’s a brief look at the results of PSAs in cycles 2 and 3. Some of the figures could still change, particularly for PSA 14.

JACOP 2024 is an initiative of the European Commission, financed under the EU Single Market Programme, and implemented with the support of EY.
Cycle 1 (28/06/2024)
The final meetings for all PSAs were held between January and March 2025.
Cycle 2 (28/06/2024)
All PSAs are in the sampling and testing phase. Laboratory meetings will be held in June and September 2025.
Cycle 3 (28/06/2024)
Intermediate meetings to select testing laboratories were held in January for PSA 14, and in February for PSAs 13 and 15, 16 and 17. For PSA 13, seven lifeboats from seven training centres in Italy will be tested. The testing is expected to be completed by September.
Laboratory meetings have been held for three of the five activities in this cycle: PSA 4 (21-22 November), PSA 5 (9-10 December) and PSA 6 (10-11 December).
All PSAs in this cycle (7-12) have held their intermediate meetings, which means that the laboratories have been selected, and sampling can officially begin. Laboratory meetings will be held during the course of 2025.

The kick-off meeting was held on 3 April 2024. During this meeting, the MSAs decided on the product scope and testing criteria.

The kick-off meeting was held on 4 April 2024. During this meeting, the MSAs decided on the product scope and testing criteria.

The kick-off meeting was held on 21 March 2024 and the intermediate meeting on 22 May.
PSA 5: Small receptacles (cylinders containing gas, gas cartridges) primarily sold online (28/06/2024)
