Are you an engineer, city planner, consultant, scientist, or manager working in Heating and Cooling?

Help us evaluate project proposals. The European Commission is looking for experienced professionals to evaluate and recommend proposals for funding under the H2020 Energy Efficiency Call for Proposals in the area of Heating and Cooling. You can enter your CV at any time, but note that until 31st October we will be selecting the long list of experts for the upcoming round of evaluations in spring 2017. A step into the future - Skeleton Technologies raises €13 million for its graphene ultracapacitor

Graphene has been heralded to revolutionise high-tech industry thanks to its ground-breaking physical and mechanical properties. Since it was discovered in 2004, the wonder material has attracted interest from industry across the board, but its potential has so far reached few concrete applications on the market. SME Instrument champion Skeleton Technologies has cracked the challenge and found an application for graphene in its high-power ultracapacitors.

 
The SME Instrument Overseas Trade Fair Participation programme is launched!

We are pleased to announce that the Overseas Trade Fair Participation (OTF) programme has been launched as part of the SME Instrument’s third phase – Commercialisation services. The OTF programme aims to support the international commercialisation of EU innovations developed under Phases 1 and 2 of the SME Instrument.

What kind of projects can be funded?

Horizon 2020 Energy Efficiency topics include: ICT, industry, consumers, products, services, heating and cooling, innovative financing, buildings and public authorities. In 2017, demonstration, public procurement of innovative solutions and market uptake projects will be funded.

With more than €100M available, the Horizon 2020 Energy Efficiency Call for 2017 offers plenty of opportunities to fund innovation and market uptake projects. This year, we have put networking and learning from successful projects at the heart of the event. This will help you in preparing your proposals and in meeting potential partners.
