IAM4RE.eu: New European Initiative Strengthens Support for Intellectual Asset Valorisation

As Europe sharpens its focus on knowledge valorisation and the strategic use of intellectual assets, a new initiative - IAM4RE.eu (Intellectual Asset Management for Research and Entrepreneurship) - has been launched to bolster this perspective. The project reflects a broader trend in European research and innovation policy: moving beyond reactive IP protection toward a more proactive, opportunity-driven approach to managing assets that can maximise the societal and economic impact of public research. The IAM4RE.eu initiative aims to strengthen the capacity of universities, research organisations, and spin-offs to manage and valorise their intellectual assets more effectively - not only through patents, but also through know-how, data, and other forms of IP.
