InvestEU Matchmaking Event

Aiming to bring the public and private sectors together to discuss the topics of sustainable finance and innovation, the 2019 InvestEU Matchmaking event, powered by the European Investment Project Portal (EIPP) and the Seal of Excellence (SoE), took place on 19 March 2019 in Brussels.

The event complemented the free service offered by the online platform and replicated the EIPP in real life by bringing together EU-based project promoters and investors around the same table.

250 participants participated in the event, with around 200 Seal of Excellence SMEs and 50 private investors (Business Angels, Venture Capital and Private Equity funds). After keynote addresses and panels, the selected Seal of Excellence holders attended a dedicated matchmaking session, facilitated by a networking application. As a result, nearly 350 one-to-one meetings were arranged.
