EIPP @Web Summit

The EIPP was, for the third time now, present at the 2019 Web Summit in Lisbon. Being one of the largest global technology conferences, the Web Summit was visited by more than 70,000 people.

Among the 1,200 speakers at this year’s Web Summit were Commissioner Vestager and Michel Barnier, Chief Negotiator on Brexit at the European Commission (EC). Thousands of visitors came to the EC's #InvestEU stand where they received information about the EIPP and other financing, support and networking initiatives offered by the EC. An outlook on the future of the EIPP, the InvestEU Portal, was given during a presentation on the InvestEU programme.
