This year’s edition of the Brussels Economic Forum, #EUBEF19, will take a look at the choices European citizens will have to make in order to build the Europe of the future.

This year’s edition of the Brussels Economic Forum, #EUBEF19, will take a look at the choices European citizens will have to make in order to build the Europe of the future. The debates will revolve around the following topics: “A new global order: inward of outward looking? “A new social contract for Europe?” and “A new kind of growth for Europe?”. The BEF will take place on 18 June and will bring together high-level speakers, including European and international policymakers, opinion leaders, academics, representatives of civil society and business leaders. Participants will also have the opportunity to cast their votes in a ‘for and against’ debate between two influential speakers about basic income. Participants can attend in person or digitally by watching the live-streamed debates via the conference website and joining the Q&A’s via Sli.do. Moreover, an event app will include all important event documents as well as enable virtual networking
