This year’s Brussels Economic Forum, #EUBEF18, will focus on the future of the European Economy in an era of digital disruption. It will address the topics: “What is the future of work in a digital economy?”, “What financial system for a deeper EMU in a digital era?” and “The future of EMU: towards more resilience and convergence.” Participants can attend in person or digitally by watching the live-streamed debates via the conference website and joining the Q&A’s via Sli.do. Moreover, a new event app will include all important event documents as well as enable virtual networking, exciting conversation threads on debate topics and much more. Participants will even be able to cast their votes in a ‘for and against’ debate between two influential speakers with contradictory views on a topical motion. The Forum, which will be held on 5 June, brings together European and international policymakers, opinion leaders, academics, civil society and business leaders to debate hot economic topics and share new perspectives on Europe's economic challenges.
