The Tri Hita Karana Roadmap for Blended Finance is an international unifying framework for mobilising additional commercial capital towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Roadmap was launched at the Tri Hita Karana Sustainable Development Forum in Bali, Indonesia in October 2018. Its objective is to deliver on the SDGs by mobilising and pooling together resources from a wide set of actors, so that blended finance can achieve its full potential in support of sustainable development. The European Commission and the European Investment Bank, together with other international partners, will now work towards turning the Roadmap into action. This action agenda will be able to support the EU’s investment initiatives, by aligning further blended finance stakeholders and will be centred around five areas: practice, mobilisation, transparency, inclusive markets, and impact. At the next Roadmap coordination meeting held on the side lines of the IMF/World Bank Spring meetings on 11 April 2019, the action pillar will move into implementation mode.
