The highly anticipated EHESO benchmarking tool for higher education institutions across Europe has officially launched, providing a comprehensive platform for comparing institutional performance across key indicators. The launch marks a significant milestone in European higher education data analytics, offering institutions a valuable resource for strategic planning, performance assessment and peer learning across European higher education systems.

EHESO has launched its User Group on Graduate Tracking Data, bringing together experts to strengthen cooperation, discuss methodological approaches, and improve transparency on data related to graduate outcomes and labour market pathways. The group identified key priorities for future work and will continue exchanges through upcoming seminars.
On 12 November 2025, the European Higher Education Sector Observatory (EHESO) held a policy-oriented conference titled "From data to direction: How can EHESO support the monitoring of the Union of Skills?" at the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) in Brussels. The hybrid event brought together over 130 participants to explore how the Observatory's growing data infrastructure can translate into meaningful policy guidance. The conference was structure around some of the Union of Skills’ most pressing policy issues, such as innovation and entrepreneurship, STEM in higher education and labour market relevance.

This Eurydice report focuses on the topic of equity and inclusion in higher education in Europe. It analyses the current level of alignment of European higher education systems with the ten Principles & Guidelines agreed by all EHEA countries as a blueprint to take forward the commitment of improving the social dimension.
