Ambassador Gaja Brecelj named most influential sustainability advocate

In February, Climate Pact Ambassador from Slovenia, Gaja Brecelj, took home ‘The Most Influential Sustainability Advocates’ award from Kongres Magazine. Gaja is managing director of the Slovenian Foundation for Sustainable Development, Umanotera, a non-governmental organisation on a mission to embed sustainable development into national policies.
In 2013, she was the driving force behind the Clean Victory project, and went on to make many other sustainability initiatives a reality, including a consultation on more sustainable sports events in Planica last year.
