These were the words of Pact Ambassador from Belgium, Arvea Marieni, after winning first prize at the European Innovation Procurement Awards last week. On 20 March, Arvea’s project BEAM CUBE, which she leads with co-founder Thierry Albert, was announced as the winner in the ‘Facing societal challenges: green energy transition’ category with their new digital solution REGEN3TIQ.

Arvea explained that the solution reduces the energy consumption and environmental footprint of public infrastructure and construction works, as well as the procurement, maintenance and management cycle associated with these types of work. 

As she accepted the award on stage, Arvea said her team’s solution is just one example of competitive innovation for environmental efficiency.
