CLIMA - French Pact Ambassador featured on BBC News

While other Pact Ambassadors gathered in Dubai to take part in COP28, Pierre-Jean Clausse shone a spotlight on the European Climate Pact on BBC News. In his interview, he explained that he is working on the grassroots level in France and overseas to ensure all voices, especially those of young people, are included in climate narratives and climate discussions.

‘Usually young people are underrepresented in these formal processes, especially if you look at COP. There has been a good trend over the years where young people have been included more and more. But now other actors, such as civil society and academia, need to be involved for policies to be made not only for youth, but with them.’
