CLIMA - State of the Union: Ursula von der Leyen maps a European future

In her State of the Union address on 13 September 2023, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen acknowledged that Europe’s hottest summer on record is a stark reminder of the ‘reality of a boiling planet’.
