The latest report from the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), drafted by the world’s leading scientists, comes at a time when extreme weather events, such as heatwaves and heavier rainfall, are having increasingly dangerous impacts on people and nature. We look at the European Commission’s response to the findings and meet some of the Commission staff helping to produce the IPCC reports. Also this month, we:
