Marine Cornelis, France

date:  30/01/2023

Marine Cornelis from France is a young mother living in Turin, Italy – a city she finds is very polluted. She wants to make people around her aware of the simple actions they can take to reduce their carbon footprint, while also saving money and improving their wellbeing. She worries about the climate and our future, but tries to make a difference by sharing simple tips.

“We can all make our world more sustainable and fairer for everyone. It’s estimated that energy accounts for more than two-thirds of greenhouse gas emissions globally, therefore you can start to make a difference by switching to LED light bulbs, taking shorter showers, monitoring room temperatures, defrosting your freezer, unplugging appliances you don’t use – and thinking twice before buying any new gadgets!”
