date: 30/09/2022
The University of Bergen in Norway has joined the Climate Pact with a pledge to go climate neutral by 2030. To achieve this, it will reduce employees’ travel emissions by 50%, cut energy consumption by 30% and eliminate 40% of emissions from the goods and services it buys by 2025. The university also plays a key role in climate research, particularly on ocean acidification and marine tipping points.
