As part of the ‘Green Deal Going Local’ initiative, the European Committee of the Regions invited people from across the Union to share their ideas on how to accelerate the green transition. On 29 May, pioneering local and regional leaders, together with sustainability experts, discussed the need to increase climate action across Europe as part of a ‘Green Deal 2.0’.
