Clean-ups are the perfect opportunity to encourage people to re-think their consumption habits and raise awareness on the importance of recycling to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Meanwhile, in Moscufo, a small village in Pescara (a province of Italy’s Abruzzo Region), Pact Ambassador Silvia Beccari also organised a climate walk. She took a passionate group of volunteers on a journey to understand that climate action begins with people who want to become actors of change. The participants enjoyed the walk and asked for more, feeling they were doing something useful for their neighbourhood. 

In Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, the Climate Pact team organised an interactive game for all ages reflecting climate impacts, leading to discussions on how the participants could take climate action in their own lives. Belgian Pact Ambassadors also had a full day of climate conversations at the EU Open Day on 4 May (third photo) where they brought the Climate Pact message to hundreds of visitors, inspiring them to take climate action.
